Chelsea F.C are closing in on 20 year old Dutch midfielder Marco Van Ginkel who plays for Vitesse Arnhem.
According to some reports Chelsea are set to capture the midfielder who was also a Manchester United target for a fee of $12.8 million.
Van Ginkel is a box to box midfielder who usually plays as a deep midfielder. He has scored 8 goals this past season in the Eredivise and has provided 10 assists. His passing is very good and his technique is also very good. He can play in the double pivot or as an attacking midfielder.

Chelsea were in the need of a deep lying playmaker with Lampard not getting any younger ,Van Ginkel may be the player who could fulfill this need.
